The Hostel
The MS Sparrow is a design hostel in Ljubljana — where boutique comfort meets the spirit of a city that never stops surprising you.
Comfortable and quiet: clean, modern, air-conditioned rooms, quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00, and a peaceful house where guests sleep well and see the city rested. Choose a bed in a dorm, a private double room or the private 4-bed family room.
Not the tourist in transit, but the deliberate traveller — one who arrives with intent, who wants to feel a city rather than merely pass through it. We are on Dunajska cesta, 2.5 km north of the old town: a 25-minute walk, or 6–8 minutes on the city bus (lines 6, 8 and 11) from the stop 50 m from our door. Paid public parking is right in front of the hostel, and the Ljubljana-Bežigrad ring-road junction is about 2.5 km away, easy if you come by car.

The host at this hostel is exceptionally kind. … I got the best sleep in months here that I ended up extending three times. The rooms are exceptionally clean and modern. … It is a 25 minute walk to the city centre but I did not mind as I like walking. There is a bus that takes you into the centre outside the hostel.
My first impression was - this is so nice. I liked how clean everything was. Beds are very comfortable, furniture seemed new, kitchen is very practical and equipped … Host was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hostel.
The host is incredibly friendly and deals with special requests very quickly, confidently, straightforwardly and satisfactorily. In terms of value for money, this is one of the best hostel experiences I've had in a long time. Definitely recommendable!
Very clean and quiet hostel in a good location. The staff/owner was very friendly and helpful — would surely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good stay!
